Rainbow Loom Mario Figure

Happy Monday Friends,

Last night I brought out my Rainbow Loom stash and watched a few Rainbow Loom You Tubers.  When I spotted the Mario charm by Elegant Fashion 360 I knew I had to try and make one. It took over an hour to make him because there were so many steps and separate pieces I had to make first.  I tweaked a couple of things but in the end I am so happy how he turned out.

He will be one of the Rainbow Loom keychains I will be selling at craft fairs this year.

Speaking of craft fairs, my friend Kate from Crochet By Katie
http://crochetbykatie.blogspot.com/ and I will be doing craft fairs again this year.  Go and check out her blog.  She does beautiful crochet pieces.

The Mario keychain will also be available this Wednesday in my Etsy shop.

I hope you all have a wonderful day and I will talk to you soon.

Duct Tape Flower Pens

Happy Friday Friends,

It's SPRING!!!

I thought I would share another craft fair product I make.  These are my duct tape flower pens.

As you can see I make them in a variety of colors and patterns.  It was one of the first duct tape crafts I tried and I love making them.  I think the different pattern duct tape makes them look pretty.

I have given them out as gifts to my son's teachers.  They also make nice party favors.  Or just to give one to someone to brighten their day.

I am also taking custom orders if you don't see a pattern here that you are looking for.  Here is a sample of the ones I already have made.

Minnie Mouse and Hello Kitty

Owl and Butterflies

Paw Prints and Gummy Bears

When Pigs Fly and Fireworks

Tinkerbell and Purple Leopard Print

Peacock and Rainbow

Zig Zag Striped and Paris Theme

Cherry and Scottie Dogs

If you would like to order any of these duct tape flower pens that you see here, please go to my online Etsy store.  Here is the link:

Duct Tape Mouse Pad with Wrist Pillow

Good Afternoon Friends,

Over the weekend I made another product to add to my craft fair items.  It is a duct tape mouse pad.

This mouse pad has a comfy pillow to rest your wrist on.  I have been using this Mickey Mouse one for a couple of days now and I can feel a difference in my wrist already.  The wrist pillow is stuffed with polyester fiberfil for extra comfort.

I will be adding more patterns soon.  I made myself a Mickey Mouse one because he has always been a favorite character of mine.

I am also taking orders for custom ones in any color, pattern or theme that you would like.  The cost is $3.00.

You can email me at dbcroce15@gmail.com

Let me know what you think about this mouse pad design in the comments below.

Have a great day!

Duct Tape Zippered Pencil Case

Happy Thursday Friends,

I hope you are having a great week.  It is snowing hard right now as I write this blog.  I guess winter doesn't want to be over yet.  I'm glad I decided to go shopping for my craft supplies yesterday because I wouldn't want to go out in this mess today.

Hobby Lobby seems to be my favorite craft store at the moment.  I like how they offer a 40% off coupon every week.  I also think, in my opinion that they have more variety of yarns, buttons, and sewing supplies to choose from.

One of the things I did purchase yesterday was a pink zipper.  I have been wanting to make a duct tape pencil case with a zipper for a long time.  I tried the Ziploc bag method but I didn't like how it came out.  Using a real zipper makes the pencil case very durable and easy to get your supplies in and out quickly.

I am planning to make different theme pencil cases in the weeks to come. However, instead of using just the pattern duct tape I will be designing my own pencil cases.

My pencil cases will be available for purchase on my online Etsy store as well as at the craft fairs I will be attending.

Here are some photos of the sample pencil case I made with the zipper.  I just used left over duct tape that I had to make this one.  For my first one I am very pleased with it.  Even my son liked it and said he wanted me to make him one for school.  I will post that one as soon as I make it.

I will be posting all my designs on my facebook page too.

My first zippered duct tape pencil case

It holds a variety of supplies

The zipper opens and closes very easily.

The bottom of the case extends out so there is more space to carry things.
There it is.  My first zippered duct tape pencil case.  Leave in the comments below what you think about it.

If there is a particular theme that you want just let me know and I will custom design a pencil case for you.

Have a great day!

Baby Bunny Washcloths

Happy Tuesday Friends,

I know it has been awhile since I last posted on my craft blog, but I am back and ready to share with you what I have been working on.

Today I want to share with you my baby bunny washcloths.  I made mine by first crocheting a baby washcloth.  I found this variegated baby yarn at Michael's store and immediately liked it.

Here is the crocheted washcloth I made:

Then to make the bunny I rolled the washcloth up like this:

Then I bent the washcloth in the middle like this:

Finally I tied a pretty ribbon in the center to make the bunny ears and head.

Here are a bunch of them I made to sell at craft shows.  They make cute baby shower gifts or favors.  I also think they would be cute decor in a bathroom for the Spring.

These are also available on my online Etsy store if you would like to purchase them.  They are $1.00 each.  You can order as many as you like.

Thanks for stopping by.
